OBJECTIVES
The company is primarily a for-profit entity in Investment, Mining, Consulting, Manufacturing, Importing, Supplies and Services, but also undertakes not-for-profit ventures wherever necessary. The objectives for which the company was established includes, but are not limited to:
To carry on in Sierra Leone or any part of the world the business of Mineral Exploration, Mining: to buy, sell, export and deal in diamonds, gold and other industrial minerals; to enter into arrangements for the purchase, sale of diamonds and other industrial minerals produced or won by any mining company, person and other industrial minerals produced or won by any mining company, person, local authority or government; to act as mineral valuators, brokers and agents for companies, governments, local authorities or persons, carrying on business of mining, producing or selling diamonds and other precious minerals.
To buy, sell, export, refine, polish and deal in diamonds, bullion, specie, coin and precious minerals.
To prospect for, in, get, quarry, reduce, amalgamate, dress, refine and prepare for market, auriferous quartz and ore, and other mineral substances (whether auriferous or not) and precious stones, and generally carry on any metallurgical operations which may seem conducive to any of the company’s objects.
To purchase, take on lease, or otherwise acquire freehold properties, mines, minerals properties, metalliferous land and also grants, concessions, mining leases, claims, licenses or other interests in mines, mining rights, land mineral properties, water rights whether absolutely or conditionally and either solely or jointly with any other person or persons or corporation.
To crush, win, get, quarry, smelt, calcite, refine, dress, amalgamate, manipulate and prepare for market precious stones, metal a mineral substances of all kinds mined or otherwise raised or obtained by the company and to carry on any other metallurgical operations, which may seem conducive to any of the company’s objects.
To employ and pay mining experts, agents, consultants and other persons, partnerships, companies and to organize, equip, and dispatch expeditions for prospecting, exploring, reporting on surveying, working, developing lands and properties, whether the same are the property of the company or otherwise.
To carry on business as dealers in and exporters of diamonds, gold, silver, precious stones, mineral ores and other substances.
To buy, sell, manufacture and deal in minerals, plant, machinery, implements, conveniences, provisions and things capable or being used in connection with metallurgical operations, or required by workmen and others employed by the company.
To apply for and obtain both mining and dealers licenses for the mining and purchase of any precious mineral and other metals and to apply for and obtain export license for the exportation of the same.
To engage in and deal in any or all of the businesses relating to mining of any precious minerals including metals of all description, in either Sierra Leone or Abroad.
To merge with other persons, whether corporate, sole or aggregate, partnership or other person for the purpose of mining, purchasing, cutting and polishing of precious minerals and metals for the purpose of exportation.
To carry on the business of discovering, exploring, extracting, drilling, pumping, drawing, treating, purifying, blending, distributing, supplying and transporting of oil, gas, petroleum and other related products and for that purpose to set up, install, erect, establish, run, operate and maintain plant, machinery, apparatus and equipment and other facilities to construct, drill, explore, dig and pump wells for extraction of petroleum and gas and to do all such acts, deed or things as would be required for effective fulfilment of the said objective.
To carry on the business of prospecting for extracting, pumping, drawing, transporting and purifying and dealing in crude oil of every description and petroleum and all other mineral oils including but not limited to petrol, diesel and kerosene.
Undertake research, studies, experiments, and other investigations to aid product development, improvement, and performance.
To carry on business and to act as merchants, traders, commission agents, carriers, or in any other capacity in the Republic of Sierra Leone or elsewhere and to import, export, buy, sell, barter, exchange, pledge, make advances upon or otherwise deal in goods, produce articles and merchandise.
To engage in any other lawful for-profit or non-profit activity for which such companies incorporated in Sierra Leone are distinctly permitted to engage in under the Companies Act of 2009.
To engage in and deal in any or all of the businesses related to consumer goods either in Sierra Leone or abroad.
To collaborate or merge with other persons, whether corporate, sole or aggregate, partnership or other person for the purpose of investment, manufacturing and provision of services.
To provide, establish and carry on the business as manufacturers, manufacturers’ representatives, general merchants, importers, wholesalers, and retailers, to assemble and package goods, produce, and merchandise of all descriptions.
Such activities shall include but not be limited to any and all services, scientific, research, educational activities, consultancies, information technology development, and applications for use, etc.
To engage and carry on any of the business of procurement of all kinds of commodities both within and out of Sierra Leone.
To open branches of the company in any part of Sierra Leone or elsewhere abroad as the Director shall think fit.
To import into the Republic of Sierra Leone and deal in such goods as crude and refined oil, and such other petroleum products as the company may consider fit for the benefit of the company and to obtain license for the sale of it.
To establish, acquire, or own offices, trading stations, factories stores and depots in Sierra Leone or elsewhere and to purchase, lease or otherwise acquire, carry on, develop and improve any interest in any property, whether real or personal property or other interest of all descriptions in Sierra Leone or elsewhere.
